La Trochita - The Chubut Provincial Railroad
The history of the Old Patagonian Express, fondly nicknamed “La Trochita” because of the narrow separation of only 0,75 m between its rails, floats inside its small, antique wooden coaches. A 402.3 km full steam journey starting from Esquel or El Maitién, the two heads of the Chubut section of the line.
