FCCM - Ferrocarriles Chiapas-Mayab S.A. de C.V.
The Ferrocarriles Chiapas-Mayab S.A. de C.V. (FCCM) is a regional carrier located within the Mexican states of Yucatán, Campeche, Chiapas, Tabasco, Veracruz and Oaxaca. Our 1,805-kilometre (1,000-mile) network of main and branch lines connects the important population and transportation centers of Mérida, Campeche and Coatzacoalcos along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico with Ixtepec, Tapachula and Ciudad Hidalgo at the border with Guatemala along the Pacific Coast. FCCM operates on 321 km (200 miles) of trackage rights between Coatzacoalcos and Salina Cruz, which allows us to connect traffic between the two routes. FCCM's employees handle a variety of products, including cement, corn, rice, sugar, gasoline, diesel oil, propane and fertilizers. FCCM's principal connection is to Ferrosur at Coatzacoalcos and Medias Aquas. Through these gateways, our customers can reach all other North American rail systems. As soon as operations are restored to the Ferrovias Guatemala line at Ciudad Hidalgo, FCCM will establish an additional connection there. Mexico
