RailCorp - Rail Corporation New South Wales (Australia) RailCorp, a merger of the State Rail Authority of NSW and the metropolitan functions of the Railway Infrastructure Corporation was officially formed on 1 January 2004. It is a state-owned corporation that has as its main focus the provision of a safe, clean and reliable passenger rail network throughout NSW. RailCorp provides passenger rail transport throughout NSW via its CityRail and CountryLink services and is responsible for the safe operation, crewing and maintenance of passenger trains and stations.
